About The Authors

Administration:

South Georgia Farmer is the creator and head administrator of Poverty in America (formerly "Rural Poverty in America"). Growing up in rural south Georgia on a small produce farm, SGAF was introduced early on to the struggles which plague rural America. After graduating with an undergraduate degree in business, he has continued to work in agriculture (at least for the time being) while devoting his free time to research on poverty. SGAF is married to his high school sweet heart, and they currently reside on the "family homestead". His works have previously been published under his real name in local magazines and newspapers, and he has appeared on local TV and web media.

  2. Dave Logsdon (David) here. I just wanted to let you know I am coming on board in a more full time role here as we ramp up production at "Poverty in America". Look forward to working with everyone on getting first world poverty brought out into the "light", so to speak.
